These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Rabbit & Hare website and the purchase of products from us. By accessing our website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our website.
Rabbit & Hare is a small business based in Suffolk, England, United Kingdom, specialising in handmade children’s clothing crafted from organic cotton and other gentle, high-quality fabrics. We take pride in creating thoughtful, beautifully made garments for little ones.
References to “we”, “us”, or “our” refer to Rabbit & Hare. References to “you” or “your” refer to the user or customer.
2. Use of Website
By using our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you have the consent of a parent or guardian to use the website and enter into transactions.
You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, the website by any third party. You must not misuse our website by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time without prior notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the website.
Whilst we make every effort to ensure the information on our website is accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that the content is free from errors or omissions. Product images are intended to be as accurate as possible; however, slight variations in colour may occur due to screen settings and the handmade nature of our garments.
3. Products & Ordering
3.1 Product Descriptions
All products sold by Rabbit & Hare are handmade children’s clothing, primarily crafted from organic cotton and carefully selected natural fabrics. As our garments are handmade, each piece is unique and may have very slight variations from the product images shown on our website. These subtle differences are a hallmark of handcrafted quality and are not considered defects.
3.2 Made to Order
Many of our products are made to order. Please allow approximately 3 to 4 weeks for production before your item is dispatched. During particularly busy periods, such as the lead-up to Christmas or other holidays, production times may be slightly longer. We will notify you if there are any unexpected delays with your order.
3.3 Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product(s). All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We will confirm acceptance of your order by sending you an order confirmation email. A binding contract between you and Rabbit & Hare is formed only when we send this confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including but not limited to cases where a product is unavailable, there is an error in the product description or price, or we suspect the order to be fraudulent. If we cancel your order after payment has been taken, we will issue a full refund promptly.
3.4 Availability
As a small, handmade business, our stock is limited and some items may sell out quickly. We endeavour to keep our website up to date with current availability, but on rare occasions an item may become unavailable after you have placed your order. In such cases, we will contact you as soon as possible to offer an alternative or a full refund.
4. Pricing & Payment
4.1 Prices
All prices displayed on our website are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are correct at the time of publication; however, we reserve the right to amend prices at any time. Any price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
4.2 Payment
Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering. We accept payment via the methods displayed at checkout. All payments are processed securely. By submitting your payment details, you confirm that the payment method belongs to you or that you have authorisation to use it.
4.3 Discount Codes
From time to time, we may offer promotional discount codes. These codes are subject to their own specific terms, including minimum spend requirements and expiry dates. Discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with other offers unless expressly stated, and we reserve the right to withdraw any code at any time.
5. Delivery
5.1 Delivery Options
We offer the following delivery options for orders within the United Kingdom:
- UK Standard Delivery: £3.95 (estimated 3–5 working days after dispatch)
- Free UK Delivery: Available on all orders over £75
Please note that delivery timeframes are estimates and commence from the date of dispatch, not the date of order. As many of our items are made to order, please allow 3 to 4 weeks for production before dispatch. We will provide you with tracking information where available once your order has been dispatched.
5.2 Delivery Delays
Whilst we make every effort to deliver within the stated timeframes, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including postal service disruptions, adverse weather conditions, or high demand periods. Rabbit & Hare shall not be held liable for any delays caused by the postal or courier service once the item has been dispatched.
5.3 International Delivery
At present, Rabbit & Hare primarily ships within the United Kingdom. If you are based outside of the UK and would like to place an order, please contact us at hello@rabbitandhare.co.uk and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that international orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient.
5.4 Risk and Ownership
Ownership and risk of the products shall pass to you upon delivery. If an item is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of the expected delivery date, and we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue.
6. Returns & Refunds
6.1 Your Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving a reason. To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by contacting us at hello@rabbitandhare.co.uk.
6.2 Our Returns Policy
In addition to your statutory rights, Rabbit & Hare offers a 30-day returns policy. You may return any item within 30 days of receiving your order, provided the following conditions are met:
- The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition
- All original tags and labels must still be attached
- The item must be returned in its original packaging where possible
To initiate a return, please email us at hello@rabbitandhare.co.uk with your order number and reason for return. We will provide you with return instructions.
6.3 Return Postage
Unless the item is faulty or incorrect, the cost of returning goods to us is your responsibility. We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in return transit. Please retain proof of postage until your refund has been processed.
6.4 Refunds
Once we have received and inspected your returned item, we will notify you by email. If the return is approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days. Please note that it may take a further 5–10 working days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.
6.5 Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, please contact us at hello@rabbitandhare.co.uk within 48 hours of receiving your order, including photographs of the issue. We will arrange for the item to be returned at our expense and will offer a replacement or full refund, including any original delivery charges. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
6.6 Exclusions
Personalised or custom-made items may not be eligible for return unless faulty, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This will be clearly indicated at the time of ordering.

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, icons, designs, photographs, and product descriptions, is the property of Rabbit & Hare and is protected by United Kingdom and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display, publish, or otherwise use any content from this website without our prior written consent. You may download or print individual pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not alter any content or remove any copyright or proprietary notices.
The Rabbit & Hare name, logo, and all associated branding are trademarks of Rabbit & Hare. Unauthorised use of any of our trademarks is strictly prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rabbit & Hare shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our website or the purchase of our products.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions or your use of our website shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific product(s) that are the subject of the claim.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable legislation.
